Thank you for considering staying at The Neahtawanta Inn! Please review our policies below. If you have any questions, feel free to call or email us.
Cancellations
We have a 14 day cancellation policy. After that time, you are responsible for the entire cost of your room. If you decide to check out before your departure date, you will be billed for the complete reservation time.
If you book the enitre Inn a 50% deposit will be taken to hold your reservation. Cancellation within 90 days of your reservation will result in forfeiting your deposit. You will be billed the full amount if cancellation occurs within 30 days of your reservation.
Check-in/check-out policy
Check-in is anytime between 3 and 10 pm. Our check-out time is 11 am to provide our guests the time to leisurely enjoy breakfast and wake up peacefully.
Minimum stay
On weekends between May 16 – October 31, (high season), we have a two night reservation minimum.
Quiet hours
Most of our guests come here for peace and quiet. Before 9 am and after 9 pm are considered “quiet hours”.
Our fireplaces and making bonfires
Please ask one of the innkeepers if you would like a fire in the indoor fireplace. For outdoor fires we are happy to give you materials and instructions.
Smoke and vape free policy
We do not allow smoking or vaping indoors, on porches or staircases, or near the Inn. We have a designated smoking area by the outdoor fire pit, out in yard to the left as you look at the lake. You will find a small bucket of sand for cigarette butts. Please don’t leave cigarette butts in the yard or beach.
Breakfast
We serve vegetarian hot breakfast in the common room between 9 and 10 am, with coffee and tea starting around 8 am. We do not offer room service. Let us know the night before if you will not be having breakfast.
Event space
If you’re hosting an event with us, please be aware of the following:
- All decorations and additional lighting must be approved by the Neahtawanta Inn staff.
- We prefer the use of votive candles instead of tapers.
- No fireworks are allowed on property. (This includes sparklers.)
